How to Play Doodle Relay FREE

The drawing-telephone party game · in Party Feud

Half Pictionary, half broken telephone — and completely free. No teams to organise, no setup: just one phone passed around the room.

The app's job is simple: it hands one player a secret word. They draw it, the next person guesses, the next person draws that guess — and so on down the chain. By the end, your “flamingo” has quietly become a fire hydrant. That drift is the whole joke.

How a round works

  1. Make teams of about 4 players, sitting in an order. The app gives the first player a secret word — they keep it to themselves.
  2. That player has 1 minute to draw itno letters or words allowed, just the picture.
  3. The next player looks at the drawing, has 1 minute to guess what it is, and writes their guess down (hidden from the rest).
  4. The next player draws that guess… and it keeps passing — draw, guess, draw — to the last player, who says out loud what they think it is.
  5. Compare the start and the end for the big reveal. The more it mutated, the better.

💡 The app just supplies impartial words at the right level — hard enough to be fun, easy enough to draw in a minute. Hit Next word for a fresh one, and flip on Kids mode for simpler, younger-friendly words.

Why it's a great party game

It needs zero explaining, anyone can play (you don't have to be able to draw — bad drawings are funnier), and it works for kids and adults alike. It's the perfect warm-up before the main event — and it's completely free, so there's no reason not to start.
