How to Play Letteroma

The fast online word game · in Party Feud

A word-building race for 2–4 players, online. Make the most words, steal what your rivals miss, and string games together into a tournament. Here's how it works.

Letteroma is built on one simple, fast idea: everyone gets the same letters and races to build words. The more (and better) words you make, the more you score — and you can steal the ones your opponents leave on the table. It plays online, so each person uses their own phone and a shared screen keeps score for the room.

STEP 1 · GET IN A ROOM

Host a room, friends join the code

One player hosts and gets a short room code. Everyone else opens Party Feud — in the app or at play.partyfeud.com — picks Letteroma, and joins the code. Add a TV or laptop as the shared Display so the whole room can follow the scores.

💡 It's online sync, not local wifi — players just need internet and the same code.

STEP 2 · MAKE YOUR WORDS

Race to build as many words as you can

Everyone works from the same letters at the same time. Spell out as many valid words as you can before the timer runs out — longer and cleverer words are worth more. It's quick, it's simultaneous, and there's no waiting for your turn.

STEP 3 · STEAL & SCORE

Steal the words they missed

When the round resolves, words count up — and you can steal from any opponent who left a word on the table. Your score is the words you made, minus the ones called wrong. In 3- and 4-player games it's a free-for-all on the shared pool, so everyone's fair game.

STEP 4 · RUN A TOURNAMENT

String games into a bracket

Want more than one game? Pick your roster and Party Feud sets up a tournament automatically — a points league or a knockout, depending on player count. Games stack up, scores accumulate, and the highest total takes the crown (ties go to a quick decider).

The whole game in 5 lines

  • The point: build more (and better) words than everyone else from the same letters.
  • Online: each player on their own phone; a TV/laptop is the shared scoreboard.
  • Players: a 2-player duel, or a 3–4 player free-for-all on the shared pool.
  • Steal: grab the words your rivals miss; your score is words made minus words wrong.
  • Tournaments: auto-built leagues or knockouts — accumulate across games, highest total wins.
